• Hobbit House: Equipped with a cast iron wood fire stove and electric blanket.
• Geodesic Domes: Equipped with an electric blanket and an insulating dome layer for protection from tough weather conditions. We do
not provide heaters due to fire hazard risks.
• Cafeteria: During winter, the cafeteria is equipped with a wood fire stove. It has natural mud plaster and wood paneling for a cozy
atmosphere throughout the year. In extremely cold weather, we provide additional blankets and hot water bags upon request.
• We are situated in a remote area with limited nearby options.
• The closest small café and shop are 2 kilometers away from Hobbit Hamta.
• Nearest options include Dream Hamta café, famous Kalzang Dhaba, and Sethan village (3 kilometers away) with a few cafes and small
grocery shops.
• You can request toothbrushes, toothpaste, cigarettes, or shaving kits from our manager.
• On good weather days, you can bring your personal car to the property entrance.
• During snowy or rainy conditions, only four-wheel-drive vehicles are allowed on the Hamta road.
• If necessary, park your vehicle in Manali and take a local cab to Hamta.
• We provide safe parking space for your vehicles.
Yes, we can arrange cab services from Delhi or Chandigarh airports or railway stations.
Yes, we can arrange local sightseeing tours and hotel rooms. Please inform us in advance.
No, our property is not pet-friendly.
• We are situated in a remote offbeat village of Hamta, and the nearest medical facility and children’s store are about an hour away in
Manali.
• Our property is located approximately 300 meters from the road head, and there are stairs on our property. It may be difficult for
young kids, physically disabled individuals, and senior citizens to reach our location.
• Additionally, precautions are necessary when using the suspended bed in domes, and it is not recommended after consuming
alcoholic drinks.
