How To Reach Our Location

By Road From Manali Town to Hobbit Hamta: 

1. Start in Manali Town: Hobbit Hamta is located in the mountains of Hamta village, which is 12 kilometers to the east of the main Manali town. 

2. Nearest Station: Prini village is the closest place on Manali Naggar highway. From Prini, there’s a road that leads to Hamta Sethan, managed by AD hydro power company. 

3. Find AD Hydro Road: Follow the road from Prini to AD Hydro road. After curve number 30, which is about 300 meters away, you’ll see Hobbit Hamta. It’s a gentle 5-6 minute walk on a well-paved stone path. Our staff will assist you with your bags. 

4. No Public Transport: Please note that there’s no public transport to our site. The nearest you can get by public transport is Prini. From there, you can either hike for 2 hours or arrange a personal cab to reach our site. 

5. Online Permission: If you’re coming in your own vehicle, you need to obtain special online permission from the Tourism Development Council of Manali. Inform your local taxi driver about this permission. 

6. Late Arrivals: If you plan to cross the AD Hydro’s check post barrier late at night, kindly inform us in advance.

8. Road Conditions: The 9 km road to our place has 30 curves and can be bumpy and steep in some places. While it’s usually accessible year-round, it can be challenging during winter.
