Couldn’t get enough fun and comfort, homemade food and their brilliant hospitality.
The cozy warm and well laid out cabin, is no less than a star property. There service is fantastic considering its terrain. The food is basic but well prepared and fresh, and can be customized on order. I must mention the warm hospitality of Vikas ji, who owns the setup and directly interacts with the guests. He is very humble and open to feedback.
One must appreciate that is an offbeat location and meant to absorb the adventure that comes along with it.
We stayed for 2 days and it was one of our best experiences so far.
How To Reach
By Road from Delhi or Chandigarh:
• From Delhi: If you’re coming by bus from Delhi, you’ll arrive at the Manali bus stand. From there, take a cab to Hamta Village,
which costs around INR 1500 (price may vary based on road conditions).
• Travel Time: It takes about 12 hours to reach Manali from Delhi and 9 hours from Chandigarh.
• Personal Vehicle: If you’re driving your own vehicle, you can reach Hobbit Hamta except during heavy snow or rainy months. In
such conditions, park your vehicle in Manali and take a local cab to our site.
• Assistance: If you need assistance, feel free to contact us, and we’ll help arrange pick-up and drop-off. The cost for dropping
back to the private or government bus stand is the same as mentioned above.
• Flight Options: You can fly from Delhi or Chandigarh to Bhuntar (Kullu) airport, which is the nearest airport.
• Travel Time from Airport: It takes approximately 2 hours to reach Hamta from the airport. Alternatively, take a bus to the
Manali bus stand and then a cab, which will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour (Manali to Hamta).
• Nearest Railway Station: The closest railway station is Chandigarh, which is 320 kilometers from Hamta.
From Chandigarh, take a volvo or private cab to reach manali.
